This role is full-time and reports to the Front Office Manager. Competitive pay rate and excellent employee benefits are available! Training will also be provided.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Ability to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity to caller Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Pertinent job-related experience such as medical office receptionists and medical assistants with familiarity to medical terminology is helpful, but willing to train a strong candidate Professional, pleasant, cheerful, and neat appearance required Ethical and positive work principles High school graduate
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and communicate with patients & family members in a friendly professional manner Confirm and verify all patient demographics, name, address, phone number, & date of birth Verify and run insurance eligibility along with scanning insurance cards into patient chart Check referrals for those patients whose insurance require them Collect copayments or any balances dueSchedule follow up appointments, per physician's instructions. Collect any additional payments due (cosmetic procedures or products purchased) Work with other departments to set up appointments NS (no show) patients when appropriate Communicate effectively with physician when necessary Respond to internal messages directed to front desk from MD's or other staff Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization Efficient use of Modmed EMR for appointment scheduling as well as sending messages to providers and coworkers Collaborate and develop strong professional relationships with team members Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs Maintains patient confidentiality -
