As a Treatment Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient treatment planning. Duties Coordinate patient appointments, treatment plans, and financial arrangements with professionalism and efficiency. Manage patient communications via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing exceptional customer service. Review and verify medical records, documentation, and insurance information to ensure accuracy and compliance with confidentiality policies. Assist patients with understanding their treatment options, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities. Maintain thorough documentation review processes to ensure all records meet clinical confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements. Support front desk operations including scheduling, filing, typing, and managing phone etiquette to foster a welcoming environment for patients. Collaborate with clinical staff to develop comprehensive care plans that align with patient needs and insurance coverage. Stay informed about updates in health information management practices and EMR/EHR system functionalities to optimize workflow efficiency. Requirements 1+ years experience in a dental office is preferred. Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting with strong clerical support skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to safeguard patient information. Ability to perform detailed documentation review while maintaining accuracy in medical records management. Demonstrated customer service aptitude with professional phone etiquette and compassionate patient interaction skills.
