Job Summary :
Outreach & Performance Improvement Coordinator supports quality, patient safety, service recovery, and performance improvement efforts within the Emergency Department. The role collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to identify gaps in care, analyze data, and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, safety, and experience. The RN maintains full ED clinical competency and provides direct patient care as needed.
Education :
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Registration/Certification/Licensure :
Valid Maryland state Registered Nurse license required.
Experience :
Five years of Emergency Critical Care Nursing.
Other Requirements :
Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects. Strong clinical credibility in ED workflows
