Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Oral Surgery Office Administrator for a new office, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the smooth operation of our specialized dental practice. This vital role combines administrative expertise with healthcare management, ensuring efficient clinic workflows, exceptional patient experiences, and compliance with all healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient intake, and treatment coordination to optimize workflow efficiency. Manage financial aspects such as billing, coding, budgeting, and fiscal management to ensure practice profitability and compliance. Supervise administrative staff and clinical support teams, providing leadership in human resources functions like staffing, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient management, including appointment scheduling, follow-up care, and managing patient inquiries with excellent customer service. Monitor clinic compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards, HIPAA policies, and state health regulation policies. Utilize medical administrative support skills to streamline office procedures, manage medical billing processes, and ensure proper documentation of medical records. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or oral surgery setting; dental clinic experience highly preferred. Strong knowledge of healthcare practice management systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, EMR/EHR systems, and patient management software. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading healthcare teams with effective managerial communication skills. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial management, and medical billing processes. Familiarity with health regulation policies like HIPAA and JCAHO standards to ensure compliance across all operations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Background in medical terminology, medical records management, acute care experience, and managed care principles is highly desirable. Pay:
$25.85 - $31.14 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
