Full Time Position Summary:
MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine Portland is seeking a Supervisor of Clinical Operations to oversee the daily clinical and operational functions of the practice. This role works collaboratively with providers, leadership, and staff to ensure efficient workflows, exceptional patient care, and a positive team environment. The Supervisor of Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting clinical staff, maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, and assisting with strategic initiatives to support practice goals. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and six months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or one year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).License/Certifications:
Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in Hampshire.Experience:
Five years of experience working in a multi-physician medical practice as a Medical Assistant required. Supervisory experience preferred.Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
