SEEKING FULL TIME PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR FOR GROWING AUDIOLOGY PRACTICE
Job Overview Thriving Audiology practice looking for a mature, charismatic, reliable patient care coordinator. Because of that, the patient care coordinator is an intermediate position for all administrative opportunities. If you are interested in working with our company, this position is the next step of your journey. Duties Creates and manages an effective patient schedule. Primary point of contact for all incoming calls and emails. Converts inbound / outbound calls into appointments. Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, paperwork, balance due, and next steps. Primary patient check out, while providing overflow support for patient check-in processes to ensure efficient front office operations and patient flow. Supports the practice's wellness mission by processing new patient referrals and insurance verifications within 1 business day of receipt and proactively requesting patient referrals from all current patients on an annual basis. Serves as back up for the appointment reminder process with pre-texts 1 week prior to appointment, and pre-calls 24 hours prior to appointment. Ensures the patient has the best experience possible by timely & courteous interactions throughout the patient experience. Verifies insurance benefits and is back up for hearing aid prior authorization. Participates in ongoing training and development as assigned by the Office Manager Perform PCC responsibilities outlined in PCC Binder, Daily Checklist and Training Onboarding. Maintains patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA federal guidelines and practice policies. Position Qualifications High School Diploma required. 2 years front office experience required. Prior Healthcare/Medical experience required. Prior health insurance verification experience is a plus. Must be computer literate and have prior EMR experience. Hands on experience with office systems and equipment (computers, printers, e-fax) Must be able to work well independently as well as within a small team Must be detailed-oriented, organized, and have the ability to multitask and be oriented to process-improvement. The ideal candidate will also possess: Self-motivated, quick learner, and willing to adapt to change. Professional attitude and appearance. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to handle heavy phone work and willing to get new and former patients to come in for appointments. Excellent communication skills and ability to handle the public and work well with staff. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Provide top-notch customer service making patients feel important and like family. Excellent organizational skills, multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
