Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned leader in the ambulatory surgery world. This RN Director will have the opportunity to begin and grow a brand-new orthopedic surgery center. Must be a Registered Nurse with ambulatory surgery center experience. In this role, you will facilitate high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, developing improvement plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities With the assistance of the management company, responsible for clinical decisions at the center including accreditation (State, Medicare, and AAAHC) Implement and enforce policies and procedures Stay well-versed in current standards. Negotiate best pricing from vendors Attend board meetings and respond to all surgeon, anesthesia, and staff matters quickly and thoroughly. Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services. Hire and train all staff as well as discipline staff when needed. Orthopedic experience required. Surgery center leadership experience required Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. ACLS, BLS, and PALS Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Well-versed in state, Medicare, and AAAHC standards. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience as an ambulatory surgery center leader is preferred.
