Full-Time About the Opportunity BrightStar Care of Sterling Heights is seeking an experienced Home Healthcare Business Development Representative to drive growth through referral development, relationship building, and territory expansion. We are looking for a proven healthcare business development professional who understands how to grow a home healthcare business by developing strong referral partnerships, creating new opportunities, and converting relationships into new client admissions. This role is focused on expanding our private duty home care services by building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, community partners, and referral sources throughout Southeast Michigan. This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience developing healthcare referral relationships, growing census, and producing measurable business results. Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to increase referrals and client census. Build, maintain, and expand relationships with healthcare referral sources including: Hospitals and discharge planners Physicians and physician offices Skilled nursing facilities Rehabilitation facilities Assisted living communities Senior care organizations Case managers and healthcare professionals Generate new referral opportunities through consistent community outreach and relationship development. Educate referral partners about BrightStar Care's private duty home care and skilled nursing services. Identify opportunities to increase client admissions and expand market presence. Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, networking activities, and follow-up communication. Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and clinical teams to ensure referrals are converted into successful starts of care. Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and referral pipeline information. Meet established business development, referral, and revenue growth goals.
QualificationsRequired:
Minimum 2 years of healthcare business development, healthcare sales, or referral marketing experience Proven success growing referrals, admissions, census, or revenue within healthcare services Experience developing relationships with healthcare referral sources Strong understanding of the healthcare referral process and post-acute care environment Ability to independently manage a territory and create a business growth plan Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities CRM experience required Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required
Preferred:
