Job Description
Retina Consultants of Minnesota is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Manager of Clinical Support Services to assist in maintaining and advancing key operational, administrative, clinical, technology, and compliance initiatives throughout the organization. This position serves as an important operational resource by assisting with company Best Practices, clinical systems administration, MIPS reporting and tracking, clinical equipment administration, drug management initiatives, and physician support. The ideal candidate will possess extensive retina clinical experience, strong technical aptitude, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Operational Support
- Manage company Best Practices documents and operational procedures.
- Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements.
- Support organizational standardization efforts across clinic locations. Clinical Systems Administration
- Assist with administration and support of EMR and practice management healthcare systems.
- Serve as a resource regarding electronic health record workflows and clinical documentation processes.
- Assist physicians and leadership with EHR-related projects and initiatives.
- Support troubleshooting and coordination between clinical staff, physicians, vendors, IT, and business office resources. MIPS Administration
- Assist in the administration and tracking of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
- Monitor quality measures, compliance requirements, and reporting deadlines.
- Maintain documentation and reporting records.
- Coordinate with physicians and leadership regarding MIPS-related initiatives and performance measures. Clinical Equipment Administration
- Assist with administration, tracking, implementation, maintenance, and vendor coordination relating to clinical equipment including:
- Diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Medical equipment.
- Procedural equipment. Drug Management Administration
- Assist with high-level retinal drug management activities.
- Support inventory tracking, utilization monitoring, and reporting.
- Assist with documentation and operational processes related to pharmaceutical programs.
- Coordinate with physicians, clinical leadership, vendors, and external partners as needed
- Draft, edit, proofread, and maintain operational, clinical, and training documents.
- Develop reports, presentations, and communications for leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking systems.
- Assist with training and educational initiatives.
