Job Description

Our team at Mankato Family Dental is looking for an exceptional Practice Administrator to join a dental practice where phenomenal patient care is at the heart of everything we do. This is an opportunity for a highly organized, motivated, and people-focused professional who thrives in a busy, productive environment and takes pride in helping both patients and team members. We are looking for a strong leader who has experience working with self-managed teams that can provide support in an administrative, operations, and human resources capacity. For our patients and team, wellness begins with the experience we create every day. It means paying attention to the details, anticipating our patients' needs, and working together to provide care that feels both exceptional and genuinely personal. Duties Oversee day to day operations of the practice; including scheduling, patient flow, and office efficiency to ensure a seamless experience for both patients and providers Facilitate core HR functions- including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee evaluations and maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws Monitor practice performance and key operational metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement Support the financial health of the practice through effective oversight of collections, accounts receivable, insurance processes, and payment protocols Maintain strong knowledge of practice management systems and technology; Dentrix experience is preferred Lead and support the administrative team while fostering a culture of compassion, expertise, and education Champion an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint, from the first interaction through completion of care Maintain a high standard of professionalism, service, and attention to detail throughout the practice Partner closely with doctors and clinical team members to ensure strong communication and alignment across the practice Assist with team development, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management Help cultivate a positive workplace where team members feel supported, valued, and motivated to growSkills Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment The ability to motivate, support, and hold team members accountable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and meaningful relationships The ability to create a warm, welcoming, and exceptional experience for every patient Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in every aspect of the practice Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively and find effective solutions Confidence making decisions while knowing when collaboration and input from others are valuable Strong time-management The ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Financial and business acumen; including an understanding of collections, accounts receivable, scheduling efficiency, and practice performance Compensation range depending on experience This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to join a high-performing dental practice committed to exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and continued growth.
