Job Description

Overview Hello and thank you for considering us! We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator who can provide exceptional patient service and administrative support within our Dental facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Dental office setting, strong communication skills, and proficiency in various electronic health record (EHR) systems. As the first point of contact for patients, the Front Desk Agent will ensure a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This is a full-time position Monday-Thursday. We are looking for someone who is excellent at handling any and all front desk duties, but is willing to also help around the office wherever needs arise. Due to the nature of this position, we are looking for someone who can plug in and get started asap. Thank you for your time and we look forward to getting to know you! Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups. Handle incoming calls on multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with Dental billing and coding Review care plans and ensure proper documentation for patient services. Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and maintaining office organization. Provide support for medical administrative tasks including intake processes and patient service inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in a dental office is
REQUIRED.
Familiarity with dental and medical terminology, health information management, and insurance verification processes. Experience with Dentrix is a MUST. Strong computer skills. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and filing processes.
Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
