10/08/2026 Job Description Job Description Summit Behavioral Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to perform in-person independent medical evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits. About the Evaluations These are one-time consultative examinations performed to provide an objective assessment of an individual's current medical and/or mental health status as part of the disability determination process.
The provider will:
Review available medical history and relevant records Conduct an in-person medical and/or psychiatric evaluation Perform an appropriate physical or mental status examination based on the type of evaluation Document relevant diagnoses, clinical findings, and functional limitations Complete the required evaluation report and documentation These evaluations do not involve establishing an ongoing provider-patient relationship, prescribing medications, or providing ongoing treatment. Qualifications FNP, PMHNP, or dual-certified
FNP/PMHNP
Active Minnesota APRN license Strong assessment and documentation skills Position Details $150/hour 1099 independent contractor Flexible, part-time scheduling In-person evaluations No ongoing patient management Scheduling can be arranged around your existing clinical commitments This is a great opportunity for an NP looking for flexible supplemental work without a traditional full-time commitment.
