•4:00 PM The Patient Services Coordinator performs a variety of clerical functions to support the provider and patient care staff. The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible to ensure patient medical records and reports are available as needed and prepares applicable medical record forms. Relays messages to and from physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other resources necessary for patient care. Responsibilities Coordinate's activities of care team to support provider and patient care staff. Performs telephone message taking and directs communication in a timely fashion. Requests/obtains patient reports as necessary. Effectively uses communication systems for both routine and emergency transactions. Coordinates communication between care team and outside resources. Enters refills. Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. Knowledge & Skill Expectations Customer service skills and Standards Interpreter and special need services Operation of office equipment and computer programs. Fairview Clinic policies and procedures. Ability to accept cultural differences Communication skills Conflict management skills Time management skills Ability to collect and transfer data to forms as appropriate.
