Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team at Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living in Wyoming, MN! This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing. Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer's 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. Our community is small enough to get to know your residents and co-workers yet large enough to provide you with opportunities and room to grow. Our tenured staff is dedicated to healing, discovering and educating for longer, healthier and substantial lives. This schedule includes; Casual / on call Day/evening/overnight shift Must pick up three shifts a month; two being weekend shifts Responsibilities Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: Bathing/showering Foot and fingernail care Assists with meal service in dining room. Assists with preparing for and/or facilitating resident social and recreational activities as assigned and as requested. Observes tenants/residents and reports status to appropriate staff. Notifies appropriate staff of changes in physical and/or emotional conditions such as change in attitude or mood, loss of appetite, change in weight. Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment Offers pertinent observations and input. Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.
