Job Description

Job Title:

Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM) Join a healthcare team committed to creating a positive experience for staff and patients.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of previous Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred. Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident trust fund management.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Business Office Manager in billing facility charges to the appropriate payor, collecting outstanding accounts receivables, and overseeing the resident trust fund in accordance with Nexion policy. Reviews discharges, admits, and payor changes with the interdisciplinary team; makes deposits or posts cash daily. Completes the financial portion of the admission packet, ensuring copies of all Medicare/Insurance cards are obtained.
