This role oversees daily radiology operations, staffing, and workflow to deliver safe, accurate, and timely diagnostic imaging. The supervisor ensures adherence to radiation safety and regulatory standards, coordinates with physicians and nurses, and supports staff training and performance reviews. Responsibilities Lead daily radiology operations to ensure safe, high-quality imaging services Supervise, schedule, and mentor radiologic technologists and support staff Verify accurate imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient identification procedures Coordinate with physicians and nursing teams to prioritize and complete imaging orders Monitor equipment performance, arrange maintenance, and report service needs Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, Cone Health policies, and accreditation requirements Support staff education, competency validation, and ongoing professional development Track workflow, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction to drive process improvement Required Skills Radiologic imaging techniques Radiation safety and protection Staff supervision and scheduling Clinical workflow coordination PACS/RIS and EMR systems Quality assurance in imaging Regulatory and accreditation compliance Patient positioning and care Contrast administration protocols Performance evaluation and coaching
