Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our non.traditional healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess medical office experience, strong management skills, and a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and administrative procedures. In this role, you will ensure efficient clinic functioning, maintain high standards of patient care, and support healthcare staff with administrative excellence. Your expertise in medical management systems and team supervision will be vital to fostering a productive and compliant environment. Responsibilities Manage clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency. Oversee medical records management, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Supervise healthcare staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to promote a cohesive team environment. Coordinate with medical providers as needed Utilize an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to maintain accurate patient data and facilitate seamless documentation. Set up billing schedules for patients and collect funds payments. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, managed care policies, and safety protocols while maintaining excellent customer service for patients. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office administration or healthcare practice management within clinical or dental settings. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare teams and staff. Familiarity with healthcare regulation policies including HIPAA compliance. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service expertise to support both staff and patients effectively. Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
