Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Referral Coordinator to be part of our Behavioral Health Team.

Flexible Schedules Available What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Referral Coordinator is an integral member of the clinical team of BRH and works in cooperation with the Behavioral Health team members to schedule incoming referrals.
Responsibilities include:
Receive and track all incoming referrals for behavioral health services. Responsible for proper maintenance of all electronic medical record information related to the referral process, which may include, but is not limited to transferring, retrieving, creating, and repairing records. Assumes responsibility for correctly entering all required registration and insurance information on established and new patients into the computer. Also, periodically verifies above information to ensure that it is still correct Schedules internal new and established appointments via computer while directing same day appointment calls and walk-ins appropriately. Assists providers in requesting patient records when needed.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant with primary care/ambulatory care clinical experience preferred. Bilingual - Spanish language, preferred. Experience with electronic medical record systems and/or previous referral coordination preferred. Ability to organize, communicate and perform detailed functions required. Strong interpersonal skills
