Clinic Director - Adolescent Mental Health On Site | North Carolina | Full-Time W-2 Beginning January 2027 | Competitive Compensation | Pre-Launch Fractional or Contract Opportunity About the Role Adolescent Wellness Academy is expanding into North Carolina. We are looking for an experienced Clinic Director to lead the launch and ongoing success of our first facility in the state. You will oversee the clinic's performance across four pillars: clinical excellence, client experience, employee experience, and business health. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who can build an exceptional team, create a values-driven culture, and deliver meaningful results for adolescents and families.

  • Residential Treatment What You'll Lead Launch and ongoing performance of AWA's first North Carolina facility Clinical quality, client outcomes, team experience, and financial health Recruitment, development, and performance management of the clinical and operational teams Admissions, treatment planning, clinical progress, crisis response, and discharge coordination Documentation quality, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and risk management Strong partnerships with families, providers, and community referral sources Continuous improvement of programming, systems, and clinic performance How We Lead We believe great leadership is people-first, clear, and accountable.

What We're Looking For Independently licensed behavioral health professional in North Carolina, such as an LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent Master's degree in a related clinical field 5+ years of behavioral health experience 2+ years of clinical or operational leadership experience Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing performance Strong knowledge of clinical quality, compliance, and behavioral health operations Adolescent PHP/IOP experience strongly preferred Program launch or expansion experience preferred Qualified Supervisor status preferred Ability to travel occasionally to Florida for company-sponsored training The full-time W-2 position is expected to begin in January 2027 . Fractional or contract work may be available beforehand to support launch planning, program development, recruitment, and training. AWA provides specialized PHP and IOP mental health services for adolescents and families.
