Purpose :

The Clinical Director provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across all SHYAS Health programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health and substance use services aligned with the organization's mission. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory and licensing standards, and supporting the development and growth of programs and services. The Clinical Director leads and mentors clinical staff, fosters collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and ensures strong systems, processes, and accountability within the organization. The position plays a key role in driving program effectiveness, strengthening service delivery, and supporting continuous improvement across all areas of care.

Salary Range :

$70,000.00+

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

AND NCASPPB

licensure AND Mental Health Licensure AND Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical leadership within behavioral health or substance use treatment AND Strong knowledge of Medicaid reimbursement rates, ethical compliance, and regulatory standards AND Excellent strategic planning, mentorship, and organizational management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight:

Lead and manage all clinical programs, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health and substance use treatment.

Compliance & Licensing:

Ensure compliance with NCASPPB licensing requirements, Medicaid regulations, and ethical standards.

Staff Supervision & Development:

Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to clinical staff, fostering professional growth and adherence to organizational policies. Have at least

Quality Assurance:

Monitor service delivery, conduct audits, and implement improvements to enhance client outcomes.

Collaboration & Advocacy:

Work with community partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to strengthen service offerings and advocate for justice-involved individuals.

Strategic Planning:

Develop long-term clinical strategies aligned with organizational goals. Identify emerging trends in behavioral health and implement innovative solutions. Establish measurable objectives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring:

Utilize clinical data analytics to assess program effectiveness and improve treatment outcomes. Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for leadership review.

Financial & Operational Management:

Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
