This is a patient-facing position for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable discussing treatment and finances, and can confidently navigate medical and dental insurance. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be an important part of the patient experience—from the initial consultation through scheduling treatment and helping patients understand their financial responsibility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient care while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Review provider operative notes for accuracy and ensure procedures documented match services performed and billed. Answer phones, assist patients, and provide professional and compassionate customer service. Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments according to provider guidelines. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, calculate estimated coverage, and determine patient financial responsibility. Review treatment plans, costs, insurance estimates, and financial responsibilities with patients. Discuss payment and financing options and assist patients with the process as needed. Submit and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations and predeterminations. Maintain accurate patient information, treatment plans, insurance details, and updates within the EHR/patient management system. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements. Work closely with providers, clinical staff, and the administrative team to coordinate patient care and treatment.
