The Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of staff therapists, therapist assistants, and support personnel. As a member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, the incumbent is responsible for physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, documentation, and patient/family education. Other responsibilities include orientation and on the job training of staff; development, monitoring and modification of programs; and other professional and administrative duties as assigned. The individual also participates in department/facility initiatives as assigned. Additionally, the Supervisor is responsible for practicing with integrity and autonomy in accordance with practice act/standards, code of ethics and regulatory bodies and is responsible for identifying and effectively addressing situations outside of these guidelines. This is an onsite position and the schedule is: Early morning and evenings as needed for patient care. This schedule can vary according to coverage, patient needs. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in a professional billing therapy practice (versus hospital based). Candidates with outpatient therapy experience are strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy education program or equivalent. Demonstrated ability and interest in supervision and management.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
