Pay Transparency:

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Our Outpatient Eating Disorders team works collaboratively to deliver evidence-based clinical programs, promote recovery, and provide comprehensive mental health services to patients and their families. Responsible for the strategic direction, quality standards, and clinical excellence of our behavioral health services, our Director ensures that inpatient and outpatient clinical teams operate at the highest level of competence. A Typical Day As our Outpatient Director, a typical day might include the following:
Clinical Quality & Leadership:
Overseeing clinical standards and group programming across the behavioral health service line to implement healthcare best practices.
Regulatory Compliance:
Preparing clinical teams for inspections, surveys, and Joint Commission site visits while ensuring accurate medical documentation.
Operational Management:
Directing short and long-term department plans with staff input to improve patient access and clinical excellence.
Strategic Growth:
Re-evaluating strategies to improve program census, support cost containment, and enhance community mental health services.
Financial & Resource Allocation:
Managing staffing schedules, tracking non-labor resources, and proactively addressing department budget variances.
Administrative Oversight:
Participating in hiring, performance evaluations, and providing administrative on-call coverage or weekend rounds as assigned.

To Be Considered Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field is preferred.
Licensure:
Active New Jersey clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience:
Proven leadership experience managing clinical programs, healthcare budgets, and regulatory compliance within a behavioral health or eating disorders setting.
