Job Description

Premier Health is a multi-specialty medical group serving communities throughout northern New Jersey and Pike County, Pennsylvania. We are seeking an experienced Manager (RN) to provide operational and clinical leadership for our two-room ambulatory surgery center. Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, this hands-on leadership role is ideal for an experienced RN who can guide teams, coordinate day-to-day ASC workflows, maintain regulatory readiness, and provide clinical coverage when needed. This is a fully onsite position based at our surgery center. Remote work is not available. Job Description and responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the ASC, supporting safe, efficient, patient-centered care. Supervise and coach support staff. Maintain coordinated workflows across patient scheduling, registration, clinical care, discharge, billing, equipment, and facility operations. Provide leadership and, when necessary, hands-on RN coverage during staffing gaps. Partner closely with physicians, Associate Director of Operations, clinical coordinators, and executive leadership to meet operational goals and support service-line growth. Collaborating closely with the Associate Director of Operations to ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, CMS, OSHA, HIPAA, and AAAHC regulations, standards, and best practices. Reinforce standardized policies and procedures, promote staff accountability, and maintain readiness for surveys and inspections. Oversee quality assurance activities, peer review, quality improvement efforts, and required data collection and reporting. Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, development, performance evaluations, retention, scheduling, and team communication. Coordinate equipment maintenance, preventive service, repairs. Qualifications Active, unrestricted New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license ; current BLS and ACLS required. At least three years of manager-level or higher leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center . Strong working knowledge of ASC operations, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, quality improvement, and staff management. Experience with AAAHC or Joint Commission survey preparation is preferred. Ability to use EHR and operational systems, including Epic and ProVation, to monitor patient metrics, quality data, and center performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style. Preferred - outpatient clinical experience. GI, Pain Management, and/or General Surgery ideal.
