New Jersey Pay:
$23-$30/hour (based on experience)
Job Type:
Full-Time | Day Shift Overview One Oak Medical is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage inbound patient inquiries from Zocdoc and other channels. This is a high-impact, patient-facing role where your ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally will directly influence whether patients choose to move forward with care. We are looking for someone with strong phone skills and structured communication, ideally, From a medical office, healthcare call center, private practice, or hospitality background. Key Responsibilities  Respond to Zocdoc bookings and online appointment requests  Call patients promptly to confirm and qualify appointments  Explain out-of-network structure, insurance expectations, and financial responsibility  Guide patients through scheduling with confidence  Handle objections and questions professionally and empathetically  Ensure patients are fully informed prior to their visit  Document all interactions accurately in EMR systems  Coordinate scheduling across providers and specialties Requirements  2+ years experience in medical office, healthcare call center, or hospitality  Excellent phone presence and communication skills  Ability to discuss insurance and financial topics confidently  Strong attention to detail and organization  Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications  Experience with out-of-network practices  Familiarity with Zocdoc  EMR experience (e.g., eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD)  Sales or appointment conversion experience
