Job Description

Clinicians With Purpose and Impact Advancing Quality Care and Clinical Excellence Diagnostic Clinicians at CSD The Full-Time Diagnostic Clinician / Psychologist is responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This role provides diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and support for families across multiple regions. The position also contributes to program development initiatives and ongoing clinical excellence within the organization.
Starting Pay:
$115,000-$130,000 annually, based on experience About the Opportunity Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, including clinical interviews, behavioral observations, developmental assessments, and standardized testing, to determine diagnostic outcomes and treatment recommendations. Complete written diagnostic reports in a timely and professional manner. Provide diagnostic feedback and recommendations to families and caregivers. Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary diagnostic and consultation team supporting individuals with ASD and related developmental differences. Collaborate with internal clinical teams to support continuity of care and treatment planning. Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of diagnostic programs and clinical processes. Maintain compliance with all clinical, ethical, documentation, and regulatory standards. Travel across assigned regions, including but not limited to CA, CO, AZ, NM, and GA Maintain a minimum productivity expectation of 12 completed assessments/evaluations per month to support full-time employment expectations. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, training, and other organizational initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. License to practice by the State of New Mexico Board of Psychology. Two years of experience, in which a significant portion of time has been spent in diagnosing ASD. Knowledge and experience using various assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual Disability. Special Qualifications (Skills, Abilities, Licenses) Must include, but are not limited to: ADOS-2 (requires certification and extensive recent experience) Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised (ADI-R) (Preferred not required) Developmental Assessment of Young Children, Second Edition (DAYC-2) (Preferred not required) Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales, 5th Edition (SB5), Abbreviated IQ (ABIQ) Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, 5th Edition (WISC-V) Differential Ability Scales, 2nd Edition (DAS-II) Developmental Profile, 4th Edition (DP4) Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, 3rd Edition (Vineland-3), Comprehensive Parent/Caregiver Form Behavior Assessment System for Children, 3rd Edition (BASC-3) Mullen Scales of Early Learning (Preferred not required) Comprehensive Test of Nonverbal Intelligence, Second Edition (CTONI-2) (Preferred not required) Ready to Apply?
