Candidate must have Experience in a high-paced environment and a demonstrated proficiency in insurance verifications, scheduling protocols, and administrative duties. A minimum of one year of administrative experience in a health care/human services, scheduling, or medical/rehab office role. Successful experience working with an electronic medical records system. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone. Education and/or experience in a healthcare related field. Prior experience working with persons with brain injuries and/or intellectual disabilities all pluses. What you'll be doing: Gather and upload related assigned administrative paperwork to the Electronics Health Records system. Track and maintain attendance/visits with accurate data entry. Coordinate scheduling of clients for multiple programs. Facilitate the weekly staff scheduling in coordination with staffing and clinic resources. Assist to verify insurance benefits and ensure proper authorization is maintained Communicate effectively with persons served or their families via phone calls or emails to provide appointment details Obtain any requested medical documentation for persons served.
