Job Description
About the Role Oakridge Motor Ranch I am seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and trustworthy professional to serve as my right-hand operations partner. This is a hands-on, varied role combining ranch operations, hospitality support, executive assistance, project coordination, and digital business support. The right candidate will help build the property into a destination for travelers exploring Death Valley, Pahrump, off-roading, hiking, camping, and Southern Nevada adventure tourism. What You Will Do at Ranch & Guest Operations Prepare the ranch before owner, guest, and business-associate visits, including supplies, basic setup, and coordination of property needs. Receive, organize, and track packages, deliveries, shipments, and supplies delivered to the property. Handle local errands and purchasing, including groceries, cleaning supplies, household items, and operating necessities. Provide or coordinate transportation support between Pahrump and the Las Vegas area, including airport transportation when needed. Assist with cleaning and turnover of common areas, the guesthouse, clubhouse, barndo, bunkhouse, and other ranch spaces; coordinate with the existing guest-house host when appropriate. Support guest readiness and hospitality for friends, visitors, short-term rental guests, and future campsite users. Property & Project Coordination Coordinate day-to-day work with existing property maintenance and development personnel, contractors, vendors, and service providers. Track open projects, repairs, maintenance items, purchases, deadlines, and follow-up tasks. Help ensure the property is safe, presentable, stocked, and ready for ongoing use and future guest operations. Marketing, Content Creation & Social Media Assist with launching and operating Oakridge Motor Ranch listings on Airbnb, VRBO, Furnishfinders and Hipcamp and other travel or camping platforms. Help manage online listings, inquiries, availability information, photos, descriptions, and basic guest communications. Support social-media promotion of the ranch and its outdoor-adventure positioning. Oakridge Motor Ranch - Pahrump, Nevada Assist with development of an on-site podcast or other digital content, including setup, research, scheduling, production coordination, posting, and promotion. Executive & Business Support Build, organize, clean, and maintain databases, spreadsheets, contact lists, project trackers, and other business information. Provide administrative support across multiple businesses platforms Use modern productivity and AI tools to research, organize information, create documents, maintain records, and improve operating workflows. Help the owner create a more productive work base in Nevada by coordinating priorities, follow-ups, and day-to-day operational details. Ideal Candidate Highly dependable, discreet, organized Comfortable handling confidential business information. A self-starter who notices what needs to be done and follows through without constant supervision. Comfortable switching between physical, hospitality, administrative, and technology-based work. Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional judgment. Competent with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; comfortable learning databases, booking platforms, social media, and AI tools. Valid driver's license, safe driving history, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally between Pahrump and Las Vegas as needed. Comfortable working in a rural ranch environment and around changing priorities, outdoor conditions, guests, vendors, and contractors. Experience in operations, hospitality, executive assistance, property management, project coordination, marketing, or small-business administration is helpful but not required in every area. Compensation & Growth Compensation will be competitive and based on experience and the final scope of responsibilities. The total package may include performance-based bonuses, paid time off, business vehicle use or transportation support, and potential housing or housing assistance depending on the candidate and arrangement. This position is intended to grow with the ranch and the owner's Nevada operations. A strong performer may have the opportunity to assume broader management responsibility as guest operations, events, lodging, camping, content, and other business activities expand. Schedule & Work Style This is primarily an on-site, part-time role based in Pahrump With flexibility required around owner visits, guest activity, transportation needs, projects, and occasional evenings or weekends. The position is best suited to someone who values autonomy, variety, practical problem-solving, and helping build an operation from the ground up.
