Description:
Are you looking for a rewarding career in wellness where you can make a lasting impact on the community? The YMCA of Broome County is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Health and Wellness to oversee our Binghamton and Johnson City, NY branches. The Director of Health and Wellness is responsible for overseeing our fitness centers, coordinating group exercise classes and community health programs, and supervision over the wellness team. This role requires developing and implementing programs and strategies that promote the health and well-being of our community. This role also requires strong leadership skills and a passion for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement wellness programs that address the physical health of our members Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes Provide training and support to members, staff and volunteers involved in wellness activities Organize programs and events focused on health and wellness promotion Stay current with industry trends and best practices in health and wellness promotion
Salary:
$46,000-50,000 per year
