Job Description

The Alice Center - Assisted Living Program $19.61-$29.63 per hour | Benefit Eligible The Alice Center is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to plan and lead recreational and social activities for residents of our Assisted Living Program (ALP). The ALP provides a supportive residential setting that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life. The Activities Coordinator will develop a variety of meaningful activities based on residents' interests and preferences, encourage voluntary participation, and help foster social connections within the facility and the greater community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current continuing education credits pertinent to the activities profession. Must be eligible for certification as an Activity Director or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or have two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in an age-appropriate social or recreational program, including one (1) year of full-time experience in a patient or resident activities program in a healthcare setting. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Creativity and enthusiasm for working with older adults.
