•63.93/hour, based on experience | Per Diem The Alice Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical and operational leadership within our Assisted Living Program. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse seeking a flexible per diem leadership role. Responsibilities Oversee and support the delivery of safe, person-centered nursing care. Ensure residents are assessed and care plans are developed, implemented, and evaluated. Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nursing staff. Monitor staffing, assignments, resident care, documentation, and safety. Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with New York State regulations, nursing standards, and organizational policies. Address clinical concerns and changes in resident condition using sound nursing judgment. Promote teamwork, accountability, quality improvement, and excellent resident outcomes. Serve as a nursing leadership resource when senior leadership is unavailable. Qualifications Current New York State RN license in good standing. Strong clinical nursing experience; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
