Hardy's Kitchen & Bake Co. | Massena, NY Hardy's Kitchen & Bake Co. is looking for a hospitality-minded leader to join our team as our Hospitality Lead. We are a growing local restaurant, coffee shop and bakery, built on great food, genuine hospitality, and community connection. We are looking for someone who believes the details matter, someone who notices when a guest needs help, when a teammate needs support, and when something can be done better. The Hospitality Lead is an important part of our daily operations, helping create the welcoming experience our guests know and love while supporting and developing our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership but also loves being part of the action. You will work alongside our team during service, help maintain our standards, and serve as a trusted point person for front-of-house operations.

Responsibilities Include:

Guest Experience & Daily Operations Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest Support smooth service during busy periods Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and care Help maintain Hardy's standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and organization Complete opening and closing responsibilities as assigned Team Support & Leadership Be a positive leader and role model for the front-of-house team Train and support new team members on Hardy's procedures and expectations Provide coaching and feedback when smaller issues arise Help team members stay accountable to service, cleanliness, and operational standards Communicate larger performance concerns or ongoing issues with ownership Operations Support Assist with maintaining front-of-house systems, checklists, and procedures Help identify operational needs and opportunities for improvement Assist with inventory counts and ordering needs while working within established budgets Communicate important updates, challenges, and ideas to ownership

Schedule:

This is a full-time leadership position with required weekend availability.

The ideal schedule will include:

Saturday and Sunday availability Midday shifts with overlap between breakfast, lunch and dinner service Two regular days off during our slower days (Tuesday and Wednesday)

The Ideal Candidate:

Has previous hospitality, food service, retail, or leadership experience Enjoys working with people and creating memorable experiences Is dependable, organized, and able to take initiative Communicates clearly and professionally Can provide calm, solutions-focused leadership during busy times Understands that great hospitality is about making people feel welcome

Compensation:
