POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Clinic Director, the Clinic Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Clinic Director in carrying out the day-to-day oversight of all areas of the Adult, Children's, Integrated, and Satellite clinic operations. This is a dynamic position which requires strong administrative and clinical skills. The Clinic Assistant Director will provide oversight, supervision, and guidance to the clinical team and will champion the continued growth of its operations. This position has on-call responsibilities. This exempt position is expected to maintain a regular, full-time work schedule of five (5) days per week and eight (8) hours per day, unless an alternative arrangement is documented and approved by leadership.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides regular supervision and clinical oversight of assigned team members and interns, including training, observation, and performance evaluation. Prepares for and facilitates the operation of the weekly Clinical Risk meeting in collaboration with the operations director. Maintains and completes responsibilities of assigned client caseload including but not limited to treatment plans, progress notes, therapy sessions, and assessments. Manages and conducts clinical intakes for referred clients. Manages all AOT clients and tracking. Manages, reviews, and approves all timesheets and payroll functions. Manages all hospital referrals in collaboration with the intake department. Fields clients concerns and grievances. Interviews, hires, develops and retains high-quality staff. Provides required on-call coverage for the program on nights/weekends/holidays in rotation with the Clinic Director. Completes and submits weekly reports to the director regarding clinic operations. Completes chart audits as needed. Prevents, recognizes, and reports abuse towards the people we support. Ensures that all required documentation (paper and electronic) is completed /processed appropriately, in a timely manner, and meets quality and compliance thresholds. Performs other duties as assigned. Leadership/Management Positions:

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master's Degree in mental health counseling, social work, creative arts therapy, or another related field required.
Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years providing individual, group, or family therapy to individuals with mental health needs and experience working with behavioral populations required. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience required. Internal and external candidates with less than one year of supervisory experience will need to successfully complete internal management and supervisory skills training within 120 days of hire or transfer into the role. For any candidate with one or more years of supervisory experience, this is highly preferred. Experience providing services to individuals with substance use disorders, children, and youth populations preferred.
Specialized Training, Licenses, Certifications:
LMHC-D or LCSW licensure required.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding and practical application of clinical, behavioral, and mental health principles. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills Critical thinking and sound judgment skills Strong caseload management skills and efficiency in prioritizing tasks.
Other Requirements:
Valid Driver's License required Ability to be on-call nights/weekends/holidays in rotation with the Clinic Director required. Ability to work a standard, full-time schedule of five (5) days per week and eight (8) hours per day
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is performed in-person in a clinical setting; some travel to satellite and FREE locations required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Employee is required to sit, walk and stand for prolonged period of time (at least 8 hours). Employee is required to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Employee is required to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax and filing cabinets. Employee might be required to lift/move light items.
