Tully Hill is accepting applications for an experienced professional to join our Leadership Team as the Clinical Director. The Clinical Directoris responsible for providing leadership and strategic planning of clinical services for patients seeking treatment for substance use disorder. Provides oversight of inpatient and outpatient clinical programming to ensure regulatory compliance. Will lead, monitor and supervise clinical staff in providing quality counseling services in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team providing medical services. Will motivate and inspire the clinical team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication and encourages bonding of team members across departments. Will work collaboratively with all departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients and families and quality improvement projects. Position reports to the Executive Director. Responsibilities include the 24-hour management of the Clinical Department to ensure that counseling services are carried out in accordance with facility policy and in compliance with CARF standards and
NYS OASAS
regulations; monitoring documentation to ensure compliance with policy, OASAS regulations, CARF standards, referral source and insurance contract requirements; supervision, training and scheduling of clinical staff; developing, implementing and providing clinical programming and departmental procedures; providing guidance re: patient issues; establishing and controlling departmental budget, conducting mental health assessments to assist in making admission decisions and providing 24/7 on call coverage. Qualified individuals must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team. Excellent leadership skills for the Clinical Department and as a member of the leadership team, strong written and verbal communication skills, competency in an electronic medical record and good computer skills required. Minimum Advanced Counselor CASAC or other NYS Qualified Health Professional required. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, co-occurring disorders, DSM criteria and terminology, OASAS regulations and 12-Step Philosophy required. 5+ years supervisory experience preferred. Pay rate is commensurate with experience and education/credentials.
