Position Overview The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical oversight, case consultation, employee development, documentation review, and quality-improvement leadership. The selected candidate's assigned staff will be matched to the candidate's Ohio license, supervisory designation, and legal scope of supervisory authority. The Clinical Supervisor will work closely with program leadership to ensure that services meet clinical, ethical, organizational, payer, and regulatory expectations. Primary Responsibilities Provide timely individual and group clinical supervision Maintain complete and accurate supervision records Provide consultation for complex, high-risk, or clinically challenging cases Assist employees with clinical decision-making, crisis response, safety planning, and appropriate escalation Review diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and related clinical documentation Evaluate documentation for medical necessity, clinical consistency, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Ensure that interventions connect clearly to diagnoses, treatment goals, and client needs Identify patterns involving late, incomplete, cloned, contradictory, or clinically deficient documentation Provide direct coaching and corrective guidance when performance concerns are identified Support employees in improving documentation, clinical judgment, productivity, and client engagement Facilitate clinical meetings, case consultations, and staff-development training Assist with onboarding and competency development for new clinical employees Monitor employee supervision needs, caseload concerns, documentation performance, and clinical risk Collaborate with quality assurance, billing, human resources, operations, and executive leadership Participate in internal audits, utilization reviews, corrective-action planning, and quality-improvement initiatives Assist with preparation for payer, licensing, accreditation, credentialing, and regulatory reviews Promote professional boundaries, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and trauma-informed care Address performance concerns respectfully, promptly, and consistently Help create a clinical culture that supports employee development while maintaining high standards Minimum Qualifications Applicants must possess: A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health discipline An active and unrestricted Ohio LPCC-S or LISW-S license Authority to provide the type of supervision required for the employees assigned to the position Behavioral health, mental health, or community-based clinical experience Experience reviewing assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical records Knowledge of medical necessity and behavioral health documentation standards Strong clinical judgment and risk-assessment skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage difficult conversations professionally Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements Strong organization, follow-through, and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications The following experience is strongly preferred but not required: Previous experience as a Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, Program Manager, or Lead Clinician Community mental health experience Medicaid-funded behavioral health experience Experience supervising licensed and non-licensed behavioral health professionals Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families Experience with day treatment, intensive community-based services, or MPAC programming Familiarity with behavioral health service codes such as H2020, H2019, H0036, or H2012 Experience with audits, utilization management, quality assurance, or compliance Experience developing clinical training or performance-improvement plans Experience supervising employees across multiple programs or locations Familiarity with electronic health record systems Candidates who meet the licensing requirements but do not possess every preferred qualification are still encouraged to apply. Compensation Salary Range:
