- Miami Valley Hospital New 📁 Management 📅    108559 Requisition # 📅    10 hours ago Post Date Apply for Job Share this Job The Director of Operations, Hospitalist Medicine, is an executive responsible for overseeing the operational excellence, strategic direction, and overall performance of the Hospital Medicine division. The Director of Operations leads and manages all aspects of operations to drive efficiency across the continuum of care, optimize total cost of care, and enhance the caregiver and patent experience. The Director ensures appropriate allocation and deployment of resources to meet patient care demands and organizational goals. This role fosters strong internal and external partnerships by working collaboratively with administrative teams and stakeholders across the health system.
Minimum Level of Education Required:
Bachelor's degree Additional requirements: Type of degree : Operational management or financial discipline. Dual degree candidates are highly desired. L icensure/Certification/Registration • If background is of a clinical nature a minimum of a master's degree in that related field of study with demonstration of commensurate operational experience • Preferred member or fellow of ACHE and/or industry certifications in LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO, or similar operational performance/performance management systems
Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required:
5 - 7 years of job related experience. Prior job title or occupational experience: A track record of administrative and operational responsibility in an integrated health system.
