Small Acupuncture Practice Specializing in Orthopedic & Neurological Care We are a focused, patient-centered acupuncture clinic dedicated to helping people recover from orthopedic injuries, manage neurological conditions, and improve long-term function and quality of life. We are seeking a reliable, warm, and organized individual to join our team as Front Desk & Patient Coordinator (this role may also be titled Medical Assistant depending on experience and responsibilities). This is a key support position that keeps our clinic running smoothly and ensures every patient feels welcomed, cared for, and well-coordinated throughout their treatment journey. Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and create a calm, professional first impression
- Manage patient check-in/check-out, collect payments, process charges, and handle basic billing inquiries
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with accuracy and courtesy
- Maintain clean, prepared treatment rooms (including changing sheets and light room turnovers between patients)
- Perform light administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, responding to patient messages, and supporting day-to-day clinic operations
- Coordinate patient flow to keep the schedule on time while maintaining a supportive atmosphere
- Uphold patient privacy (HIPAA) and clinic standards at all times Ideal Candidate
- Friendly, professional presence with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a small clinical setting
- Experience in a medical, wellness, or front-desk role preferred (acupuncture, physical therapy, chiropractic, or similar healthcare environments a plus)
- Ability to learn our scheduling and billing systems quickly
- Comfortable with light physical tasks (room preparation and sheet changes)
- Professional appearance and a genuine interest in supporting patients with orthopedic and neurological concerns
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the practitioner(s) Schedule & Compensation
Part-time:
up to 25-30 hours per week- Flexible scheduling within clinic operating hours (exact days/hours to be discussed)
