About the Role As our Executive Director, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency while empowering an interdisciplinary team to deliver world-class hospice care. You'll provide strategic leadership, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and ensure our patients, families, and employees receive the support they deserve. What You'll Do Provide Visionary Leadership Lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the hospice agency. Inspire and develop a high-performing, patient-centered culture. Partner with organizational leadership to achieve agency goals and drive continuous improvement. Foster an environment built on collaboration, accountability, and compassion. Oversee Clinical Excellence Ensure the delivery of exceptional hospice care that aligns with regulatory and clinical standards. Support interdisciplinary teams in providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Monitor quality metrics and implement initiatives that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Develop & Support Your Team Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain exceptional clinical and operational talent. Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Promote employee engagement while creating a positive, supportive workplace culture. Foster collaboration across all disciplines to ensure seamless patient care. Drive Operational & Financial Success Oversee agency budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiency. Manage resources responsibly while supporting sustainable agency growth. Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve organizational performance. Ensure operational decisions align with organizational goals and patient needs. Build Community Partnerships Develop and strengthen relationships with referral partners, physicians, hospitals, assisted living communities, and other healthcare organizations. Represent Cadre Hospice within the community while supporting business development initiatives. Serve as an ambassador for our mission and commitment to exceptional hospice care. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of leadership or management experience in a hospice or home health setting. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications Progressive hospice leadership experience. Strong knowledge of hospice operations, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement. Experience leading interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
