Campbell Dermatology & Aesthetics is looking for someone who wants to understand and support the full patient experience, from the front desk to the exam room. We are hiring a full-time Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator for our new Beaverton location. The primary focus of this position will be supporting the front office, with regular opportunities to assist the clinical team and cross-train in both areas of the practice. We welcome experienced medical assistants who are interested in expanding their front-office knowledge, as well as candidates with strong patient-service experience who are excited to learn medical assistant responsibilities. The role and training plan can be tailored based on the selected candidate's experience. What You'll Do Front Office and Patient Experience Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive Answer phones and respond to patient messages professionally Schedule appointments and help patients navigate their care Complete patient check-in and checkout Collect payments and maintain accurate patient information Support referrals, medical records, forms, and other administrative needs Keep the front office organized, calm, and patient-focused Communicate and collaborate with providers and the clinical team throughout the day Medical Assistant and Clinical Support Depending on your experience and training, responsibilities may include: Rooming patients and completing intake Reviewing and accurately entering medical histories and medications Preparing and turning over exam rooms Taking clinical photographs Preparing supplies for procedures Supporting providers during medical, surgical, and cosmetic visits Assisting with supply organization and inventory Completing clinical documentation and other medical assistant responsibilities Helping maintain an efficient flow between the front and back office Professional Growth We want this position to provide a meaningful path for growth. For candidates who are newer to dermatology, the practice will provide hands-on training and support participation in the DermCert program. Experienced medical assistants will have opportunities to expand their dermatology knowledge, learn additional clinical workflows, and become cross-trained in the administrative side of the practice. Who Will Be Successful Here We are looking for someone who: Is warm, welcoming, and genuinely enjoys helping people Communicates professionally with patients and coworkers Is dependable, organized, and attentive to detail Takes initiative while also knowing when to ask questions Welcomes coaching and applies feedback Understands the importance of accuracy and patient confidentiality Can move between front-office and clinical responsibilities while remaining calm and focused Enjoys being part of a collaborative team Wants to grow with a physician-led dermatology and aesthetics practice Previous medical assistant, dermatology, medical-office, or front-office experience is preferred, but it is not required. Experienced MAs are strongly encouraged to apply. We are also open to training the right person who brings professionalism, reliability, curiosity, and a genuine willingness to learn. Schedule and Location This is a full-time position based at our Beaverton location. The regular schedule will transition to four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. Initial training will take place Monday through Friday at both our Beaverton and McMinnville locations, so reliable transportation is required.
