We're seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager for a Family Birthing Center in Southern Oregon—a leadership opportunity for a nurse who loves maternal-child health, enjoys developing other nurses, and still wants to remain connected to patients and clinical practice. This is a highly visible, hands-on role combining Labor & Delivery nursing, charge responsibility, staff development and operational leadership. Approximately 70-80% of the position maintains a clinical focus, making it an unusual opportunity to grow as a leader without giving up the work that brought you to nursing in the first place. What you'll do: Provide clinical leadership and function as Charge RN within the Family Birthing Center Oversee patient flow, assignments, staffing and daily unit operations Coach, mentor and develop RNs through hands-on clinical education Support orientation of new nurses and nursing students Evaluate clinical competency and nursing practice Participate in hiring, performance evaluations and staff development Monitor documentation, quality and compliance through chart review and audits Help develop and implement evidence-based policies and best practices Collaborate with leadership on staffing, productivity and department initiatives Step into direct patient care when needed Help create an environment where nurses—and families—feel supported What we're looking for We're looking for an experienced nurse with strong clinical judgment who is comfortable making decisions, setting priorities and remaining calm when the unit gets busy.

Required:

Current Oregon RN license Current nursing experience with demonstrated leadership ability Previous preceptor, educator or clinical coaching experience Strong clinical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP Flexibility to support department needs when necessary BSN preferred.
