As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our organization, serving as the first point of contact for patients both in person and virtually. This role is vital to creating a positive patient experience and ensuring the smooth coordination of care across our practice. In this position, you will: Deliver outstanding customer service through compassionate, professional interactions by phone, online, and in person. Coordinate patient appointments and support seamless check-in and check-out processes. Answer patient questions, provide guidance, and assist with resolving concerns. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Process payments and manage scheduling with efficiency and attention to detail. Collaborate closely with providers and team members to support exceptional patient care. Contribute to a positive, supportive workplace culture focused on teamwork and service excellence. Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to follow up and follow through; capable of thinking creatively and proactively. Strong analytical skills paired with a talent for innovative problem-solving. Collaborative team-oriented mindset. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in customer service or patient-facing roles. Prior experience in a medical office environment or with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred. Willingness to learn and engage with principles of functional medicine. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. Experience with accurate data entry and basic cash handling procedure
