Job Description

Position Overview The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the welcoming first point of contact for patients and supports the daily operations of the practice. This role combines responsibilities commonly found in a medical receptionist, front desk coordinator, and healthcare administrative assistant position. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and enjoys building relationships while creating efficient systems and a positive patient experience. ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience & Communication Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first impression Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions regarding scheduling, policies, and next steps Communicate with patients in a compassionate and professional manner, especially regarding sensitive health concerns Assist patients through the onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition into care Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Scheduling & Administrative Support Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists Coordinate patient communication through phone, email, and practice systems Maintain accurate patient information within the electronic medical record (Jane App) Assist with patient intake workflows and administrative processes Support billing, payment collection, and administrative follow-up as needed Clinic & Practice Support Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment Assist with supply management and office organization Identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient experience Support practice growth initiatives and special projects
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
