Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical and Mental Health Supervisor to lead our behavioral health team in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral care. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to pre-licensed clinicians, LAC and LMSW. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing case management for clients across various settings. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards including ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation requirements. Support clinical research initiatives related to mental health conditions or behavioral interventions to advance best practices in the field. Skills Proven experience working with peers who are doing their required clinical hours. es. Strong background in trauma-informed care including PTSD care. Expertise in delivering psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), social work principles, child & family counseling, addiction counseling, and working with co-occurring disorders. Skilled in managing electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems and medical terminology for accurate documentation. Demonstrated leadership in clinical supervision and team management within behavioral health or mental health settings. Ability to supervise intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding standards (ICD-9/10), and perform case management effectively. Experience working with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds while maintaining culturally competent care practices. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of patient information at all times. Competence in handling behavioral management strategies across different client age groups including pediatrics and special education populations. Familiarity with hospital or community-based mental health services along with experience managing EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation purposes.
