This position serves as a key clinical resource for school-based teams, helping ensure high-quality clinical services, consistent communication, effective case oversight, and strong collaboration with school administrators and Child Study Teams (CSTs). This is a primarily remote position , with an expectation of being physically present at South Orange-Maplewood School District two days per week to provide on-site clinical support, collaborate with school personnel, and maintain strong relationships with district stakeholders. The Clinical Supervisor of Schools will oversee approximately 26 BCBAs/behaviorists , providing regular clinical support, case review, performance monitoring, and professional guidance. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical professional who is comfortable working independently, communicating across multiple teams, analyzing clinical data, and building collaborative relationships with both internal and school-based stakeholders. Essential ResponsibilitiesClinical Supervision & Support Provide ongoing clinical guidance and consultation to assigned BCBAs and behaviorists. Serve as a primary clinical resource when BCBAs/behaviorists have questions, concerns, or require assistance with cases. Conduct regular individual check-ins with assigned BCBAs and behaviorists. Conduct monthly check-in emails with all assigned BCBAs/behaviorists, currently approximately 26 team members. Offer monthly meetings to BCBAs/behaviorists who prefer live meetings or require more in-depth clinical discussion. Monitor clinical needs and identify opportunities for additional supervision, support, training, or intervention. Promote consistency and quality in clinical practices across school-based cases. School & District Collaboration Maintain strong working relationships with school administrators, CST members, and district personnel. Participate in quarterly agency check-ins with school-based stakeholders as appropriate. Conduct three school administration/CST check-ins per year to review services, address concerns, and strengthen collaboration. Support communication between clinical staff, agency leadership, and school personnel. Participate in school meetings and other stakeholder meetings as needed. Represent the agency professionally and collaboratively within school environments. Clinical Case & Data Review Conduct quarterly data reviews for assigned school cases and agency cases. Review clinical data by assigned BCBA/behaviorist and agency to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for clinical improvement. Ensure clinical teams are appropriately monitoring client progress and making data-informed decisions. Follow up with BCBAs/behaviorists regarding case trends, clinical concerns, or areas requiring additional support. Assist clinical staff in identifying barriers to progress and developing appropriate clinical strategies. Performance & Accountability Assist with BCBA/Clinical Supervisor scorecards as required. Participate in quarterly scorecard meetings for full-time employees who have clients assigned to the supervisor's oversight. Monitor performance indicators and collaborate with employees regarding goals, expectations, and areas for development. Provide appropriate feedback and support to clinical staff based on performance and clinical data. Escalate significant clinical or performance concerns to appropriate leadership when necessary. Meetings & Leadership Participation The Clinical Supervisor of Schools will participate in relevant agency meetings, including: Staffing meetings Full-Time employee meetings School check-in meetings Clinical Supervisor meetings Clinical Leadership meetings Scorecard/performance meetings
