$35.00 - $38.00 Position Summary Carbon Health is seeking a versatile and patient-focused Full Scope X-Ray Technologist to join our Corona clinic. This hybrid role combines diagnostic imaging responsibilities with front office support and patient intake duties to ensure an exceptional patient experience from arrival through discharge. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently with a mobile X-ray unit while also assisting with front desk operations, patient flow, and clinical triage. This position is not expected to perform the full scope of Medical Assistant responsibilities but will play an integral role in supporting both clinical and administrative workflows. Essential Responsibilities Radiology Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using a mobile X-ray unit in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety practices. Verify imaging quality and accurately document completed studies. Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational concerns. Follow all applicable state, federal, and company regulations related to radiologic services. Patient Care & Clinical Support Perform patient intake, including obtaining vital signs and documenting chief complaints. Triage patients and communicate clinical information to providers. Prepare patients for provider evaluation and assist with patient flow. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). Support infection prevention and clinic safety standards. Front Desk Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner. Verify insurance and demographic information. Schedule appointments and manage patient registrations. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Coordinate patient flow between the front office and clinical staff. Qualifications Required Current California Full Scope X-Ray certification (or other required California radiologic licensure appropriate for the role). Current BLS certification. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Preferred Previous urgent care or outpatient clinic experience. Experience performing patient intake and triage. Experience with insurance verification and front office workflows. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Ability to safely maneuver mobile radiology equipment.
