We are a premier skilled nursing home care agency seeking a Lead Nurse Scheduling & Clinical Coordinator to oversee our field nursing schedules, streamline our human resources onboarding, and drive clinician retention. In this vital remote role, you will serve as the operational backbone of our clinical team, ensuring seamless care delivery, strict regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for our field staff. Your primary mission will be ensuring all clients receive their mandatory nursing visits every 60 days while managing the complete lifecycle of our clinical team from onboarding to long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Scheduling & Coordination:
Strategically manage and optimize the schedules of field nurses to ensure all clients are visited, assessed, and serviced at minimum every 60 days in full compliance with skilled home care regulations.
HR & Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment pipeline, credentialing, and primary onboarding processes for new nursing and clinical staff across various regions.
Orientation & Training:
Facilitate comprehensive virtual orientation sessions, ensuring new hires are fully trained on agency protocols, documentation standards, and compliance software.
Clinician Retention:
Develop and implement engagement strategies to boost nurse retention, serving as the main remote point of contact for troubleshooting scheduling conflicts and supporting field staff needs.
General Remote Operations:
Maintain meticulous digital records, track compliance metrics, and collaborate closely with agency leadership to improve overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in clinical scheduling, operations, or coordination within a Skilled Home Health / Home Care environment (highly preferred).
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with the 60-day episode cycle and compliance standards for skilled nursing home care.
HR Familiarity:
Experience assisting with HR functions, document collection, background checks, or onboarding clinicians.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with Home Health Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software (e.g., Axxess, Homecare Homebase, KanTime) and digital communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Soft Skills:
Exceptional time-management, stellar communication, and the ability to independently manage heavy logistics in a high-volume, fully remote environment.
