Overview:

Overview Sentara Health is now hiring an IT Director, Clinical Systems in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Education Bachelor's degree (Preferred) or At least 8 years of relevant management experience in lieu of bachelor's degree Experience At least 5 years of relevant experience (Required)

Duties and Responsibilities System Management:

Oversee electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software to make sure they run smoothly.

Workflow Improvement:

Find ways to make daily medical tasks faster and easier using technology.

Team Leadership:

Manage IT staff, data analysts, and system administrators.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all software and data handling meet healthcare laws and privacy rules.

Vendor and Budget Control:

Choose software vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage the department budget Sentara is currently reviewing market compensation for this role. Our Talent Acquisition team will be able to share more specific information during the recruiting process.
