JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Provides strategic, operational, and clinical program leadership for oncology support services across the cancer continuum. Responsible for the leadership, development, and operations of supportive care services within the cancer program. Oversees coordinated, patient-centered care across the cancer continuum by integrating psychosocial, financial, nutritional, rehabilitative, survivorship, navigation, and supportive services that address the holistic needs of patients and families. Oversees the Mario Pastega House. Working collaboratively with oncology leadership, clinical teams and community partners, drives program development, quality improvement, access to care, and equity initiatives aligned with organizational and accreditation standards.

The Samaritan Cancer Resource Centers partner with anyone touched by cancer to provide the support we need to live with strength, determination and hope into the future. Services are provided to patients, caregivers, families and loved ones.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree or equivalent experience required. One (1) of the following required, preferably in a healthcare setting: Three (3) years leadership experience and two (2) years business process experience. Two (2) years leadership experience and four (4) years business process experience. Experience in oncology, patient support services, care coordination, psychosocial care, and navigation programs preferred.
