Overview Join our dynamic home healthcare team as an Office Administrator / Care Coordinator, where your energetic and organized approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will manage administrative operations, coordinate patient care schedules, and serve as a key point of contact for clients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Your proactive communication and attention to detail will ensure seamless service delivery, fostering a positive experience for everyone involved. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments, coordinating patient visits, and maintaining organized records. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and insurance companies via phone and email. Enter and update patient information accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Assist with insurance verification, third-party billing processes, and revenue cycle management to facilitate timely reimbursements. Communicate effectively with managed care organizations and insurance providers regarding authorizations, claims, and coverage details. Support internal communication by coordinating team schedules, relaying important updates, and facilitating collaboration among staff members. Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, care plans, and administrative activities with excellent writing skills. Requirements Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or home healthcare environments preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for scheduling, data entry, and correspondence. Knowledge of health insurance processes, managed care protocols, and medical terminology to support billing and client communication. Experience managing electronic health records (EHR) systems with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong phone communication skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to manage multiple schedules efficiently while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
