JOB SUMMARY
Provides management oversight of the Patient Access Management (PAM) staff and day-to-day registration operations as directed by the department director. Leads and supports the PAM managers at assigned location(s) while engaging the staff at all levels. Responsible for the creation and implementation of policy and procedures related to the department responsibilities while ensuring Patient Satisfaction standards are consistently met. Maintains knowledge of current government and healthcare industry requirements and ensures Harris Health System is compliant with those requirements. Collaborates with Leadership to ensure efficient processes to suppo7t patient flow and care at their sites. Also ensures that revenue impacting issues related to registration and billing are fully investigated and resolved. This position is also responsible for consistent re-evaluation of current processes to ensure process and reporting improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degrees / Work Experience /
School Education:
a) Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, (And) (3) Three Years Work Experience in Patient Access or hospital registration, Patient Accounts or related area. EPIC ADT or related business system knowledge. (Or) b) High School Diploma (And) Seven (7) Years Work Experience in Patient Access or hospital registration , Patient Accounts or related area. EPIC ADT or related business system knowledge. Management Experience (Years and Area): a) Five (5 Years of Management Experience in healthcare management preferably in a patient access or hospital setting.
